Common Tire Recycling Methods
Texas Allied Petroleum Tire Recycling Methods By Jared Kugel
When old tires are worn down or damaged to the point where they are no longer usable, there are a few different options to choose from when it comes to recycling them responsibly. Almost 290 million tires are scrapped each year, and the same characteristics which make them great for road durability also make them an environmental concern.
Because tires are relatively large and don’t break down quickly, many landfills refuse to accept them. In addition to wasting space in the junk heap, they can also trap methane gases that may damage the lining of the landfill, which is designed to prevent toxins from seeping into the water and soil. Because it’s not very easy to simply throw tires away, the market for scrap tires is growing. Scrap tires are used to create rubber filler for a variety of products, or they may be reused to make basketball courts or shoes.
One method of turning scrap tires into recycled rubber for use in new products is ultrasound recycling. In this process, high-powered ultrasound is applied in combination with heat and high pressure. These forces break the bonds in the tires and form a rubber gum that can be cured and re-molded.
Another tire recycling method is tire pyrolysis. This innovative technique involves heating the tires in an oxygen-free environment, which causes them to melt down into their original compounds. Metal, carbon, heavy oils, benzene, kerosene and diesel are some of the byproducts of this process. Different byproducts result from different temperatures used in the pyrolitic process.
Apart from recycling, there are also many ways to turn scrap tires into reusable substrates for a variety of projects and products. Rubber Modified Concrete and Rubber Modified Asphalt are two popular products which are made with reused scrap tires. Other products such as rubber mulch, movable speed bumps, patio decks, and flooring materials can be made from reused tire rubber.
Although ecotoxicity remains a big problem when it comes to recycling old tires, the United States remains committed to legislature that regulates the responsible scrapping of used tires. Laws dealing with the issue currently exist in 48 states, and private companies continue to explore new methods of recycling and reusing tires.

What Are the Best Recycling Methods?
Texas Allied Petroleum Recycling Methods By Tom V Powell
Many people think that recycling is the be all and end all of helping this planet, however, this is simply not true, as many people have seen there are no truly perfect ways for recycling but true recycling does no start at the bin, it starts with the buying of products.
The first thing that you need to learn is that not only do you have to dispose of your material correctly but you must also buy the correct kinds of products to eliminate your waste, a quick example would be to buy your milk in recyclable plastics or to get your butter wrapped in wax paper rather than it being put inside a non recyclable plastic container.
As you can see not only do your disposal techniques have to change in order for the environment to get better but you also need to change your buying habits, for example, earlier mentioned was the buying of recyclable containers rather than the non recyclable ones. Granted you may end up paying a penny or two more but in the most case these products will usually cost you less to buy as the manufacturing costs of them are a lot cheaper.
Plastics are not the only thing you can look into though, for example, with food waste you would usually put it on a compost heap, however, you can not put a battery there and you can not put, or at least should not be putting your batteries in the bin. In fact with a quick search of the well known search engine Google you should be able to find companies that will actually take your batteries of you in order to dispose of them correctly.
This is also the same for old mobile phones as companies will take rather old and pathetic phones of you and may even pay you for them in order to either recycle for computer parts or to give to the elderly, as even without a sim card they can still dial the emergency number.
Also remember that those plastics you can’t seem to find a way around could still be washed out and maybe given to your local school or nursery as many play groups like to cut up egg containers and milk containers in order to make something to give their parents (that’s right your distributing the waste to others secretly). These are just a few examples of things you can do, in fact if you have children of our own then maybe you could use them in your day to day activities, lets face it playing with new things that you would normally put in the bin costs a lot less than buying your children new toys.

Career Management - Mind Your Personal Brand
By Rebecca Metschke
Article recommended by Rabbi Yitzhak Miller
One aspect of career management has much in common with the concepts of basic branding and advertising. You need to find a way to distinguish yourself from the rest of the pack, and then figure out how to manage the way you’re perceived. Just like any company, you need to create, build, and oversee your product’s brand - only in this case, you’re wearing all the hats. You’re the CEO, you’re the brand, you’re the head of marketing, and you’re the ad agency, too.
The first order of business is to identify your competitive advantage. What is it about you that sets you apart from the legions of other people with jobs similar to yours?
Once you’ve determined that unique selling proposition, the next step is to distill it into a concise sentence or two - your branding statement.
Now what?
Put your statement in a larger context - consider how you’re positioning and building your personal “brand.”
Consistency
Is your messaging consistent? This includes your print materials (cover letter, resume, thank you notes, general business correspondence), electronic communications (corporate bio, your employment history on professional networking sites, items you post online), what you say when you network, and so on. While you’re at it, Google your name and read through the results. Is what you see consistent with the personal brand you’re trying to establish?
Visibility
What are you doing to build your profile and promote your brand? This includes your efforts to increase your circle of contacts, increasing visibility by volunteering for high-profile projects, representing your company as a panelist at industry events, and leading initiatives for various trade associations. The more visible you are, the more inclined other people will be to talk about you - which lends to your credibility and further promotes your brand.
Style
Do you “look the part” - and “act the part?” However you’ve decided to position yourself, you need to make sure you’re perceived in a way that’s consistent with your message. Substance is king - but don’t forget about style along the way.
Think of yourself as an asset
You’re not someone else’s employee; you’re the “business owner” - of your career. What can you do to continue to add value to that asset?
